Heading to Ibiza this year? Forget the bright lights of San Antonio and head to the hills for this year’s most talked about dance festival.

The Zoo Project, held every Wednesday and Saturday, takes place at an abandoned zoo in Benimussa, about 10 minutes’ drive from San Antonio. With two outdoor arenas, a seal pit and a pool area, it’s no surprise it draws in thousands of partygoers every week.

And don’t worry if you arrive on the island unprepared – you can get your face painted on site. Just remember, anything goes – so feather eye-lashes, leopard-print scarves and fancy dress costumes are a surefire way to impress.

Another reason to love this place? It’s super cheap! Vodka and coke is around 8 euros (a welcome surprise after paying 25 euros in Pacha) and tickets cost from 30 euros. Bargain.
